Expert is unique sport software package for visualization and analysis of data collected from different sport devices. Intuitive approach make this software suitable for use in professional as well as amateur sport.

The greatest innovation, by far, is possibility to use this software package for most of WEBA products. Mastering the software package, Expert software allows combining and comparing the results of the training on different kinds of devices ( RowX-outdoor, Rower Ergo, Rower Expert Light, Swim ergo, Kayak ergo, Kanu ergo, Cross country ergo, etc.). This means that by using the same software package it is possible to measure the parameters on both indoor and outdoor devices, and use the comparable parameters for further analysis. Furthermore, this opens the door to continuous measurement of training results throughout the year, in summer and winter conditions.

Software is developed on modular basis and allows adjustments of each parameter of analysis to individual needs (zones definition for each analysis module), as well as simple addition of any new parameter. The Expert software package is in daily, dynamic development, while keeping the compatibility of all prior saved data.

Analysis is the heart of the whole package and allows the insight into the parameters of the training. The extraordinary about this software is the possibility to perform analysis of each periode (stroke). The analysis automatically detects strokes in the training and shows them in a tabular view. For each one of them, there are many available modules which analyse the behaviour of the signals of that specific stroke.

Package modularity allows the choice of and the adjustment of each analysis to the individual needs. By simple manipulation, the modules are easily chosen from the list and shown in a table for analysis. All values from the analysis table could be exported and used in some other statistic program.

The Expert software allows very simple manipulation of data. By marking of a specific stroke, the relevant fields of analysis are automatically marked which allows easy following of the measured values among all strokes in the whole training.

The monitor allows the tracking of the measured signals during the training in real time (REAL-TIME monitoring). In this way a visual feed back is obtained which allows instant correction in the practise technique.

All data are memorized during the monitoring and after the training can be saved in a file for later use and analysis.

Four monitoring modes are avaliable:

Signal mode

Signal mode allows tracking of the signals in real-time. In simple procedure, signals could be switched On/Off, filtered, changed amplitude, colors etc.

Analysis modules graph mode

This mode allows tracking of the calculated parameters (Power, Work, Arcs, Length, Velocity, etc.) in real-time. Data could be presented in "Line" or "Bar" mode. At the right part of the screen is table with templates (prepared list of calculated parameters that should be shown). It is possible to add new, deleted or edit existing templates.

Every calculated parameter could be predefined with zones (and color for every zone) representing the quality of that parameter. Resulting bars are drown in responding color.

XY plot mode

This mode allows tracking of the signals in 2-axis (XY plot) presentation. As in Analysis modules graph mode, at the right part of the screen is table with templates (prepared list of signals that should be shown in XY plot). It is possible to add new, deleted or edit existing templates.

In down part of the monitor screen is diplay bar with calculated parameters that is refreshed after each periode (stroke, turn) showing the most important parameters (Drive time, Recovery time, Force, Power, Angles, etc.).

Polar mode

In polar mode, signals are drown in radar (polar) presentation. Every circle of signal represent one stroke and radius represent amplitude of the signal.

Recall is an effective visualization of the measured parameters. It allows: following of measured and calculated values in each stroke, measuring interesting values by simple mouse manipulation, printing of the signals, marking of the intervals of the training and analysing of the marked interval. Export of data and later analysis in some statistical program (Excel) is a standard function of the recall mode.

Seven recall modes are avaliable:

Signal mode

In Signal mode, measured signals are represented. With mouse or keyboard manipulation it is possible to move trought signals and follow calculated parameter that are viewed in spreadsheet form at the down part of the screen.

With easy mouse manipulation, interesting intervals could be defined and analyse will be done only for that interval, allowing investigation of every single part of the training. All intervals are saved, defined with name and comment and could be easy recalled in every moment.

In the Periodes bar above the viewed signals, are displayed all periodes (strokes, turns) and some important parameters such as CSD [ms] (Catch slip drive), Drive time [ms], RSD [ms] (Release slip drive). Moving with mouse in this bar, selected periode (stroke, turn) will be marked and all parameters for that stroke (in analysis table) are highlighted.

Following parameters could be changed: Filters, Amplitude, Zoom, Signals On/Off, Signals shifting, colors etc.

Report mode

The results of the analysis can be printed out in a form of a report. Adding or deducting certain parts of the analysis makes the structure of a report (for example: personal info, file info, comments, period's statistics table, period's table, analysis modules legend).

Analysis module graph mode

Analysis modules graph mode is visualization of the calculated parameters. It could be represented in "Line" or "Bar" form. On X-axis are periodes (strokes). On Y-axis are calculated parameters selected from the list of free analysis modules. That means that we are following behaviour of the interesting parameters from stroke to stroke. In line presentation all selected parameters are viewed on one graph.

In bar presentation each parameter is viewed separate and drown in color representing the reached zone (zones are user defined).

Analysis module XYplot mode

In this mode, it is possible to choose two analysis modules and show them in XY plot presentation.

Analysis module statistics mode

This mode gives statistic presentation of analyse modules values. For selected interval of the training and analyse module (Power, Angle, CSD, RSD etc.), all strokes are calculated and number of stroke in each zone is presented in "bar" form.

XY plot mode

With this features, there is no more need to export data to other statistics program (such Microsoft Excel). You can choose which signals should be presented and save it in templates that are listed at the right side of the screen.

It is possible to measure all interesting parameters on graph or to filter and display only one periode by moving the mouse over the table with listed strokes.

Polar mode

In this mode, all measured signals could be presented in polar (radar) coordinate system.

Video feature is combination of the video and measured signals and parameters. Video taken at the moment of the data acquisition, can be imported in personal file, syncronised with other signals and viewed in separate windows. This allows precisilly correlating and indentifying of the interesting moments of the training.

The video can be played frame by frame, fressed, played with different speed etc.

Device can be controlled in the, so called, Remote mode, allowing the functioning through telemetry. In this way the information is received on the shore or in the boat directly on the laptop.

Signals viewed in visualization could be previewed and printed on B/W or color printer.

All signals data could be exported in ASCII file and later imported in some statistics program such as Excel.
